    Hi,

If I am not mistaken, you need to configure SQL Authentication to one of your data sources. If that is the case, open the report server http://{your server}/reports and click Data Sources. Next, click on the data source you need to configure, it opens a page contains properties of the source. There are four readio buttons under Connect Using. Select Credentials stored securly in the report server and enter your uid and password. Apply and see. You may be adding them to the Connection string directly too, though it is not recommended.

Note that recommended authentication mode is either windows or prompt when user connects.

    Hi Dinesh,

    Thanks for the response.

I am having some problem connecting to the report server on  http://{your server}/reports. It asks me some user name and password.I am not in any domain just the local machine.I have a only one windows account to login to the machine which doesn't have a password. The report server doesn't accept that it is giving a error "You are not authorized to view this page"

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Buddhika,

You need to configure the permission on reports virtual directory. This can be done through the IIS. Open IIS and get the properties of reports. Make sure windows authentication is checked.

    Let us know the result.

Can you access other websites? If not, add a simple website with a HTML page and see whether it works properly. In the meantime, just enable Anonymous Authentication and see.

Have you configured it to use anonymous authentication? If so, make sure the account set for anonymous access has enough rights.
