    I want to know whether a Index Tuning Wizard is available in Sql Sever 2005?If so can u plz give me instructions how to access it?

    Hi,

    It is available as Database Engine Tuning Wizard. The link for the application available under the Tools menu of SSMS. If you need to check for selected query, highlight it and right click on it, click on the Analyze Query in Database Tuning Wizard menu item.

    We had covered this tool with one of sessions we did for SS SLUG; if need to see the presentation, go to download page and download the content for M02D02 Overseeing Indexes - Presentation.
