SS SLUG (SQL Server Sri Lanka User Group)

The SS SLUG is the first user group in Sri Lanka dedicated to Microsoft SQL Server, aiming at supporting SQL Server professionals and users by sharing knowledge, expertise and experiences.

There are an abundance of IT professionals and developers in the country, whom if brought together make up a whole labyrinth of knowledge and expertise in diverse areas. This applies true to the database and SQL Server sector as well. It is these individuals whom we focus upon primarily to converge and cooperate in sharing their invaluable resources. Though, as mentioned above we primarily focus on the SQL Server community of Sri Lanka, the SS SLUG is also open to individuals from anywhere in the world. In fact we do have a handful of users from other countries as well.

SS SLUG currently hosts meetings on SQL Server related areas each month. In addition, free resources such as online forums and articles are also made available to members through this site. The monthly meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday of the month. Membership and participation for the meetings are free for all and require no invitation. If you are a member on SQLServerUniverse.com, then you are automatically notified of user group meetings through email.

The SS SLUG is powered by SQLServerUniverse.com and is supported by Microsoft, Sri Lanka and Red Gate Software.
